SDI Short Drop in Anchor
Description
Medium to heavy duty internally threaded anchor for use in concrete. Can be used with threaded studs, threaded rods and bolts.

Drilling machine

Drill bit of diameter matching anchor size

Setting Tool

Hammer

Wrench with matching drive socket

Air blower or compressed air with nozzle

Person Protection Equipment (PPE) including gloves.
1. Drill holes in the base material of the required diameter and depth.
2. Blow the dust and debris out of the holes.
3. Tap the anchor into the hole until flush with surface
4. Insert the setting tool and hammer until the shoulder is flush with the top of the anchor.
5. Bring the fixture into position.
6. Screw the bolt through the washer and fixture into the anchor.
7. Using the wrench, tighten the bolt until flush. Do not over tighten as this may damage the fixture or the anchor.
8. Repeat the process until all the required number of anchors have been installed. The fixture can now be loaded.
